Blue Build Engineering, LLC, or BBE, is an engineering service business. We are in the field of MEP Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) for the Commercial, Construction industry, with a specialty in Healthcare design. BBE seeks to bridge the gap between blueprints and buildings. How? First, by listening – listening to our client’s needs. Then, we tailor our services to fit our client’s needs. Facility Mangers, Municipalities and MEP Firms are our clients. The services that we offer them can include but are not limited to the following: Third-Party Plan Review, Construction Administration and Drawing Coordination. BBE does not just provide discreet services, we are a QA/QC boutique consultancy. As professional engineers with nearly 15 years of experience in engineering and several years in project management, our passion is to help our clients overcome their challenges – decreased AFEs, increased construction costs, decreased architectural/engineering fees, tighter time constraints and a result diminished quality of the final design. With nearly $16 billion in Texas’ medical construction pipeline, there’s plenty of work to be done. BBE’s mission is not only to help you produce quality documents, but to contribute to a seamless construction project that solidifies healthy business relationships for years to come.

“Most astronauts are engineers”, stated an astronaut via an intercom at NASA’s Mission Control in Clear Lake, TX. It was the Fall of 1992. The words were uttered from an astronaut who was currently on a mission. I remember them well; because those words were spoken to me in response to my question about “How to become an astronaut?” And they put me on a trajectory that led me to where I am today.
My path to be an engineer led me to Kinkaid Math & Science Institute. The electrical coursework and spacial relations classes helped me decide to specialize in electrical engineering. After finishing from the High School for Engineering Professions, I received my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Due to life events, I later decided to settle for an earthly career – MEP Engineering in the Construction Industry. I’ve had wonderful mentors along the way, like Jim Chee from Redding Linden Burr, now KCI. After almost 15 years in the industry, my love for learning and being challenged has never left me. I’ve worked on hundreds of projects from office buildouts and hotels to a machine shop and kitchens. The majority of my time I’ve specialized in Healthcare. Over the years, my work has been marked by quality and attention to detail. Developing standards and refining processes has been vital to producing coordinated, code complaint documents. And as President of Blue Build Engineering, LLC, it is a pleasure to see how my experience and that of my associates helps my clients in streamlining their facilities and offices.
You never know where life’s decisions will take you. Mine took me from star gazing in the country and being an amateur nephrologist to working on some of the most premier hospitals in the Houston Medical Center.
